TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Earlham College in the annual John Mutchner Cup Game on Wednesday at 7:40 pm inside Hulbert Arena.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman and Earlham compete for the John Mutchner Cup one time per year, and this year's contest is Wednesday night.
* The Cup is named for former Rose-Hulman head men's basketball head coach and athletic director John Mutchner (1963-88), who was also a standout athlete at Earlham.  Mutchner has been inducted into both Athletic Halls of Fame.
* Rose-Hulman picked up a 72-69 road win against perennial HCAC power Transylvania on Saturday to open conference play.
* Against Transylvania, Max Chaplin scored a game-high 18 points, and Terry Hicks had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
* Against Transylvania, five players reached double figures in scoring, with Vuk Djuric (11), Dillon Duff (10) and Trey Wurtz (10) with 10 points or more.
* Rose-Hulman has a roster featuring players from across the nation. The 18-player team comes to Terre Haute from nine different states.
* Rose-Hulman has an 11-2 record against HCAC competition over the last two seasons.
* Head coach Rusty Loyd enters this contest with a career NCAA coaching record of 109-70.  Loyd has led Rose-Hulman to one regular season HCAC title and three appearances in the HCAC Tournament Championship Game.

EARLHAM GAME NOTES:
* Earlham stands 1-4 on the season, highlighted by a 94-85 win over Adrian.
* Jaden Terry leads four Earlham players in double figures at 17.2 points per game. Other double-figure scorers include Kolden Vanlandingham (16.0 ppg), Jordan Goodson (14.7 ppg) and Anthony Phillips (12.0).
* Although Earlham stands 1-4, the Quakers have not lost a game by more than 9 points this season.
