Men's Basketball Senior Day Set for Saturday at 3:15

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Senior Day at Hulbert Arena on Saturday.  Senior Day begins at 3:15 pm with the game tipoff set for 3:30 pm.

SENIOR DAY NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman celebrates Senior Day for Jacob Back, Zach Callahan, Tim Harris, Taylor Heil, Craig McGee and Trey Wurtz at 3:15 pm on Saturday, prior to the 3:30 pm tipoff against Manchester.
* Jacob Back has scored 299 career points with 204 rebounds, 41 blocked shots and 39 assists at Rose-Hulman, with a career-high 17 point game this year.
* Zach Callahan has scored 254 career points and 147 rebounds as a Fightin' Engineer, including a career-high 23-point game in 2019.
* Tim Harris has missed the 2020-21 due to injury but appeared in 14 varsity games as a Fightin' Engineer.
* Taylor Heil has appeared in 30 career games with 31 points, including a career-high 9 points at Tranyslvania last year.
* Craig McGee was the 2020 HCAC Player of the Year; has been an all-region selection; and has career totals of 1,250 points, 540 rebounds and a school record 501 assists.
* Trey Wurtz has scored 182 career points with 69 rebounds as a Fightin' Engineer, with a career-high 20-point effort against Oakland City last season.

ROSE-HULMAN (7-2) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 6-2 on the season and had a 5-game winning streak with Saturday's 79-71 loss at Anderson.
* Senior Craig McGee, the 2020 HCAC Player of the Year, became the first RHIT men's basketball player to cross 1,000 career points, 500 career rebounds and 500 career assists in yesterday's win at Manchester.  
* McGee ranks No. 1 in school history in career assists (501), No. 15 in points scored (1,250) and has 540 career rebounds.
* Dillon Duff leads the Engineers in scoring at 12.2 points per game.
* Craig McGee is also in double-figures at 12.0 points per game with 48 assists and only 14 turnovers.
* Jacob Back is shooting 66% from the floor and joins Duff with a team-high 8 blocks.
* Rose-Hulman concludes the regular season with games against Earlham on Friday (home) and Sunday (away) next weekend.  The HCAC Men's Basketball Tournament bracket will be released late Sunday afternoon Feb. 21.

MANCHESTER (2-7) GAME NOTES:
* Manchester has wins over Adrian and Earlham this year and both by identical 84-81 scores.
* CJ Hampton (13.7) and Cortiz Buckner (13.0) lead Manchester in scoring this season.
* Second-year head coach Nate Conley is familiar with the HCAC after graduating from Defiance in 2010.
