GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team picked up a pair of singles victories to highlight a 7-2 loss to perennial power DePauw University on Saturday morning in Greencastle.
Taylor Goldman earned a 7-6 (3), 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles position, and
Hannah Snider picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles to highlight the Rose-Hulman performance.
The two match wins ties the most that a Rose-Hulman women's tennis team has earned in 16 meetings against DePauw.
Rose-Hulman stands 0-1, while DePauw improved to 1-0. The Fightin' Engineers return to action on March 20 in the HCAC opener at Manchester.
