TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team hosts Earlham in a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 1 pm.
Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend home outdoor events in 2020-21. If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team,
you will be refused entry into the game. Guests must fill out the campus visitor
Travel & Symptoms Form 24 hours before attending an event.

SATURDAY RECAP:
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team relied on a strong combined team effort to sweep a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Bluffton 9-0 and 13-2 on Saturday afternoon.
In the opener,
Matthew Rouse and
Brett Borcherding combined on a shutout in the victory. Rouse tossed six shutout innings with three strikeouts and six hits allowed to pick up the win. Borcherding tossed the final three innings with six strikeouts for his first career save.
Brett Tuttle led the game one offense with four hits, including a double, one run and one RBI.
Alex Gavrilovich added a single, double, two runs scored and two RBIs.
Luke Calabrese also had a multi-hit game with a single, double and run scored.
Other key contributors included
Logan Cody with two runs scored and one hit; and Luke Kleumper with two runs scored.
In the nightcap,
Jacob Petrisko tossed all eight innings with seven strikeouts and just five hits allowed to pick up the 13-2 victory.
Offensively,
Adam Taylor led the offense with three hits, two runs scored and one RBI.
Shaine Mitchell and
Manuel Lopez each scored three times and had two hits in the top two spots in the batting order.
Shane Garner contributed two hits, one run and one RBI.
Harris Camp scored twice and
Drew Roberts joined Calabrese with two RBIs.
Rose-Hulman improved to 3-2 on the season, while Bluffton dropped to 1-6. The Fightin' Engineers return home to face Earlham on Sunday at 1 pm.
