GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- DePauw University relied on five singles victories to pick up a 7-2 win over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in non-conference men's tennis action on Wednesday night.
Joshua Giambattista picked up a victory at the No. 1 singles position for Rose-Hulman, earning a 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) win.Â
The No. 3 doubles team of
Mark Slaninka and
Grant Stamper also earned a victory by an 8-6 margin.
Rose-Hulman dropped to 2-1 on the season, while DePauw improved to 1-2. The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Saturday with a home doubleheader against Anderson and Principia.
