*Â Â Rose-Hulman stands a perfect 2-0 on the season with wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph. Â
* The Fightin' Engineers have had 3 players chosen to the D3football.com National Team of the Week so far this season. Â
Noah Thomas (WR) and
Michael Stevens (LB) earned spots after the Defiance game, and
Shane Welshans (RB) captured a spot after the Mount St. Joseph game.
* Thomas became the school record holder for career receiving yards against Defiance. Â The 4-year starter has 192 career receptions (No. 4 all-time) for 2,579 yards (No. 1 all-time) and 26 receiving touchdowns (No. 2 all-time).

Gavinn Bakker (2nd-team Lindy's Magazine) and
Noah Thomas (3rd-team D3football.com) were named Preseason All-Americans heading into this 2020-21 season by various national organizations.

HANOVER (2-0) GAME NOTES:
* Hanover is the defending HCAC champions and stands a perfect 2-0 so far this season.
* The Panthers picked up a wild 51-44 win over Bluffton last weekend. Â Hanover rushed for 392 yards and seven touchdowns in the victory, led by Shawn Coane (208 yards, 2 TDs) and Walt Ballinger (162 yards, 3 TDs).
* With the score tied 44-44 in the 4th quarter against Bluffton, Hanover marched 91 yards in 12 plays to score the game winning TD with 15 seconds left.
