TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team travels to Hanover at 2 pm on Saturday.  Both teams enter the game with perfect 2-0 records.  Visiting fans and general public fans may NOT attend HCAC games this season.

ROSE-HULMAN (2-0) GAME NOTES:
*  Rose-Hulman stands a perfect 2-0 on the season with wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph.  
* The Fightin' Engineers have had 3 players chosen to the D3football.com National Team of the Week so far this season.  Noah Thomas (WR) and Michael Stevens (LB) earned spots after the Defiance game, and Shane Welshans (RB) captured a spot after the Mount St. Joseph game.
* Thomas became the school record holder for career receiving yards against Defiance.  The 4-year starter has 192 career receptions (No. 4 all-time) for 2,579 yards (No. 1 all-time) and 26 receiving touchdowns (No. 2 all-time).
* Gavinn Bakker (2nd-team Lindy's Magazine) and Noah Thomas (3rd-team D3football.com) were named Preseason All-Americans heading into this 2020-21 season by various national organizations.
* Michael Stevens blocked a punt and had an interception in the win over Mount St. Joseph to lead the defensive effort.
* Rose-Hulman has tallied 10 sacks on defense and the offensive line has only allowed 2 sacks in the first two games.
* Offensive statistical leaders: Rush Yards - Shane Welshans 200; Pass Yards - Andrew Dion 489; Receiving Yards - Noah Thomas 200

HANOVER (2-0) GAME NOTES:
* Hanover is the defending HCAC champions and stands a perfect 2-0 so far this season.
* The Panthers picked up a wild 51-44 win over Bluffton last weekend.  Hanover rushed for 392 yards and seven touchdowns in the victory, led by Shawn Coane (208 yards, 2 TDs) and Walt Ballinger (162 yards, 3 TDs).
* With the score tied 44-44 in the 4th quarter against Bluffton, Hanover marched 91 yards in 12 plays to score the game winning TD with 15 seconds left.
* Offensive statistical leaders: Rush Yards - Shawn Coane 274; Pass Yards - Matthew Weimer 271; Receiving Yards - Jared Frank 81
* Defensive statistical leaders: Tackles - Cam Maier 15; TFLs - Cam Maier 4; Sacks - Maier / Hardiman 3; INT - Brody Luker 2
