TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team hosts Franklin in battle of two of the HCAC's premier football programs on Saturday.  Rose-Hulman has a 2-1 record this season, while Franklin has a 3-1 mark.  Visiting fans and general public fans may NOT attend HCAC games this season.

Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend outdoor events in 2020-21.  If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team, you will be refused entry into the game.  Guests must fill out the campus visitor Travel & Symptoms Form 24 hours before attending an event.  NO visiting fans will be permitted and NO members of the general public will be permitted.

ROSE-HULMAN (2-1) GAME NOTES:
*  Rose-Hulman stands 2-1 with wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, and a narrow 27-24 loss at Hanover.
* The Fightin' Engineers have had 3 players chosen to the D3football.com National Team of the Week so far this season.  Noah Thomas (WR) and Michael Stevens (LB) earned spots after the Defiance game, and Shane Welshans (RB) captured a spot after the Mount St. Joseph game.
* Andrew Dion ranks No. 4 in school history in passing yards (6,307) and needs just 12 yards to move into third place.  Dion also ranks No. 2 in school history with 59 career touchdown passes.
* Michael Stevens leads the defense with  32 tackles, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked kick this season.
* Kyzer Bowen has a career-high 15 tackles against Hanover.
* Gavinn Bakker (2nd-team Lindy's Magazine) and Noah Thomas (3rd-team D3football.com) were named Preseason All-Americans by various organizations.
* Rose-Hulman has tallied 12 sacks on defense and the offensive line has only allowed 4 sacks in the first two games.

FRANKLIN (3-1) GAME NOTES:
* Franklin stands 3-1 on the season after picking up a 26-21 road win at Bluffton.  The Grizzlies crossed the 50-point mark in their other two wins (55-48 over Anderson and 50-3 over Manchester).  
* Dane Andrews has passed for 958 yards, Derek Thompson has rushed for 473 yards, and Jarrett Gibson has 455 receiving yards to lead the Grizzlies.
* Defensively, Charlie Moore has a team-high 33 tackles and the duo of Dante Darden and Shay McRath have 3.5 sacks each.
