HANOVER, Ind. -- Hanover College completed a perfect 9-0 spring season to claim the 2020-21 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer championship, topping Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 3-0 in the title game on Sunday afternoon.
Rose-Hulman was competitive throughout the 90 minutes, with Hanover only outshooting the Engineers 15-11.Â

Lane Lawrence and
Kiley McKee led the Rose-Hulman offense with two shots each.
Natalie Dillon recorded five saves to keep Rose-Hulman within striking distance. Hanover relied on goals from Jostin Reeves, Autumn Boothby and Bri Matis to pick up the victory.
Rose-Hulman completes a memorable 7-2 spring season as the HCAC runner-up. The Fightin' Engineers won the 2019 HCAC championship in a home win over Hanover, meaning that Rose-Hulman women's soccer has finished in the HCAC top two in back-to-back seasons.
