HANOVER, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team improved to 3-1 in HCAC play with a 6-3 victory at Hanover College on Sunday afternoon.
Rose-Hulman opened the match with two doubles wins to take the early lead.Â
Breanna Rogers and
Taylor Goldman won at No. 1 doubles, with
Julia McGuire and
Hannah Snider winning at No. 3.
In singles play, Rose-Hulman won at the top three flights and at the fifth flight.
Winners included
Fanny-Jane Banda, Goldman and Rogers in straight sets, along with
Ruby Kauffman in a 3-set match.
Rose-Hulman improved to 3-2 on the season and is 3-1 in league play. The Fightin' Engineers host Franklin College in the Senior Day match on April 24 at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.
