HCAC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME PROGRAM


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team hosts Transylvania University in the 2020-21 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship Game on Friday April 9 at 7 pm.

Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend outdoor events in 2020-21.  If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team, you will be refused entry into the game.  Guests must fill out the campus visitor Travel & Symptoms Form 24 hours before attending an event.  NO visiting fans will be permitted and NO members of the general public will be permitted.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished the regular season at 8-0-1 and has outscored the opposition 32-5 this spring.
* Rose-Hulman and Transylvania met on March 13, with the Fightin' Engineers picking up a 3-0 home win.
* Rose-Hulman has qualified for the HCAC Championship Game for the second consecutive year.  Hanover won the 2019 title game in a penalty kick shootout after a 1-1 draw.
* Takezo Kelly leads the Fightin' Engineers in scoring with 8 goals and 20 points.
* Sam Alvares ranks second on the team with 5 goals.
* Caleb Urban leads the Fightin' Engineers with 6 assists and joins Kelly and Alvares in double figures in points (10).
* AJ Yilmaz (9 points), Jacob Dirienzo (8 points) and Jackson Seida (6 points) join Urban with 3 goals each this season.
* Rose-Hulman has used a total of 25 players this season but has allowed just 5 goals.
* Evan Hofer leads the defense with a 8-0-1 record, a 0.50 goals against average, 11 saves and a .733 save percentage.

TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* Transylvania finished the regular season at 8-1 and has outscored the opposition 25-6 this spring.
* Mitchell Crispin leads the Transylvania offense with 7 goals, 5 assists and 19 points.
* Max Nusbacher has scored 4 goals and also reached double figures with 10 points this season.
* Petron Netherton (3 goals), Jak Birdsong (2 goals) and Zach Hill (2 goals) have also scored multiple goals this spring.
* Defensively, goalkeeper Gino Arena is 8-1 with 5 shutouts, a 0.67 goals against average, 16 saves and a .727 save percentage.
