TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team travels to Hope College for its final non-conference game of the 2021 season on Saturday at 2 pm.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 1-1 on the season with a 31-30 win over Trine and a 33-20 loss to Wabash.  The Fightin' Engineers defended a 2-point conversion try with 1:42 left in the 4th quarter to secure last week's win at Trine.
* Andrew Dion was named HCAC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 26-of-39 passes for 323 yards and one score at Trine.  Dion, who also rushed for a touchdown in the win, ranks No. 3 in school history in pass completions (544) and passing yards (7,243) and is No. 2 in passing touchdowns (66). 
* Brett Tuttle was named HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking a 41-yard field goal and finishing a perfect 4-4 on extra points at Trine.
* Defensively, Michael Stevens (22) and Kyzer Bowen (20) have averaged double-figure tackles per game over the first two weeks.  
* Michael Stevens (LB) and Shane Welshans (RB) were named first-team Preseason All-Americans by College Football America; and second-team preseason All-Americans by Lindy's Football Magazine.  Welshans was also a preseason second-team All-American from D3football.com. 

HOPE NOTES:
* Hope stands 1-1 on the season with a win over Anderson and a narrow loss to Coe.  The 2019 Flying Dutchmen team finished 9-2 and enjoyed a perfect 7-0 record in the MIAA before not playing in 2020-21 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
* Hope scored 35 points in the first half in its 42-7 win over Anderson.
* Chase Brown crossed the 300-yard mark in passing with a 23-44 performance for 309 yards and two touchdowns in last week's 28-21 loss to Coe.
