TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team hosts Millikin on Friday at 6 pm and Hanover in the HCAC opener on Saturday at noon at the Joy Hulbert Tennis Center.
ROSE-HULMANÂ (0-0) NOTES:
*Â The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team has been picked to finish second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this season, in a preseason poll of league coaches.

Taylor Goldman and
Ruby Kauffman led Rose-Hulman with 1-1 records in singles and doubles play at the DePauw Invitational last weekend.
*
Taylor Goldman was named 2020-21 HCAC Newcomer of the Year and a first-team all-league selection after finishing a perfect 7-0 at the No. 2 singles position last spring.

Breanna Rogers and
Hannah Snider joined Goldman as first-team all-HCAC selections during the spring 2020-21 season.

Dallas Kelsey was named 2020-21 HCAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year after leading the Engineers to runner-up finishes in the regular season and league tournament.
THE OPPONENTS:
* Millikin finished 11-7 overall and 5-3 in CCIW play last spring. This season, the Big Blue have a 2-0 record with wins over Dubuque and Greenville.
* Hanover finished 3-5 last season and was picked to finish third in the HCAC this season. The Panthers are 0-1 this fall after dropping a match at IU-Southeast last weekend.
