TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won two events and earned nine top-two finishes to highlight a 184-80 loss to NCAA Division I Valparaiso University on Friday at the Vigo County Aquatic Center.
Audrey Hankins swept top honors in 1-meter (191.40 points) and 3-meter (155.85 points) diving to highlight the Rose-Hulman performance.
Lauren Meyer added a pair of second-place finishes. Meyer was runner-up in both the 100-breaststroke (1:14.57) and the 200-breaststroke (2:45.74).
Other second-place finishers included
Tori Kinnamon in the 500-freestyle (5:51.39);
Natalija Pumpurs in the 100-butterfly (1:05.88); and
Cate Stauffer in the 1000-freestyle (11:46.25).
The 200-medley (2:01.74) and 200-freestyle (1:49.49) relay teams also added second-place performances.
Rose-Hulman returns to action on Saturday at 11:30 am at Franklin College.
