FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving fell to Franklin College on Saturday afternoon.
The effort was supported by third-place finishes by
Cate Stauffer,
Natalija Pumpurs, and
Therese Jaeger.
Cate Stauffer placed third in the 200-freestyle in a time of 2:08.68, Pumpurs placed third in the 100-freestyle in 1:01.09, and Jaeger placed third in the 200-IM with a time of 2:33.03.
Stauffer finished in fourth place in a time of 500-freestyle with a time of 5:46.06. Pumpurs placed fourth in the 100-backstroke in 1:07.10.
Tori Kinnamon recorded a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 1000-freestyle and the 100-butterfly. She finished in 12:11.85 in the 1000-freestyle, and in the 100-butterfly she finished with a time of 1:05.25.
The other fourth-place finishers include
Brooke Covert in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:19.55 and
Audrey Hankins in the 1-meter diving with 142.25 points.
The team returns to action on Friday, January 28 at Hanover College.
