FRIDAY COMPLETE RESULTS
HANOVER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on nine event victories to earn a 147-61 women's swimming and diving victory over Hanover College on Friday night at Southwestern High School.
Brooke Covert,
Natalija Pumpurs and
Cate Stauffer won two events each to lead the balanced Rose-Hulman performance.
Covert won the 100-breaststroke (1:19.39) and 200-individual medley (2:35.85). Pumpurs won the 50-butterfly (28.52) and the 100-butterfly (1:05.58). Stauffer added victories in the 50-backstroke (35.81) and the 500-freestyle (5:50.64).
Tori Kinnamon added a seventh individual win by capturing the 200-freestyle in 2:32.04.
The 200-medley relay team of Pumpurs,
Lauren Meyer, Kinnamon and
Therese Jaeger won in 2:05.82. The 400-freestyle relay team of Jaeger, Stauffer, Meyer and Pumpurs capped the night with a victory in 4:11.01.
Rose-Hulman travels to Transylvania University to close out a road weekend on Saturday at 1 pm.
