TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team returns to the court on Saturday with a 4 pm matchup at Albion College.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished 15-10 last season and has been picked to finish third in the HCAC this season, according to the preseason coaches poll.

Miles McGowen set career-highs with 22 points and 15 rebounds in Tuesday's narrow 75-68 loss at CCIW opponent Carthage.

Max Chaplin has reached double figures in scoring during each game of the 2022-23 season, led by a 16-point performance at DePauw.
* Head coach
Nick Sales is the new head coach for Rose-Hulman. Sales was an associate head coach at Marietta for the past nine seasons where he won seven OAC regular season championships, made three NCAA tournaments, and reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2022. Sales was 204-45 on staff at Marietta.
* Sales picked up his first win as part of the prestigious Great Lakes Invitational host by Wabash on Nov. 18. The Fightin' Engineers picked up a 66-57 victory over Baldwin Wallace to highlight its results in the event.

Terry Hicks was named to the all-HCAC second team in 2021-22 after averaging 10.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season.
*
Max Chaplin was also named all-HCAC honorable mention in 2021-22 following his team-high 11.8 points per game.
* Rose-Hulman seeks its first HCAC regular season championship since 2018 and its first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance since 2014 this season.
ALBION GAME NOTES:
* Albion stands 1-3 on the season, highlighted by a 70-55 win over Muskingum at the Mount St. Joseph Classic.
* Albion has three double figure scorers, led by Fred Garland at 16.3 points per game.
* Ken Thomas (13.5 ppg, 9.8 rpg) and Jonathan Armstead-Wilkerson (12.3 ppg) also average double figures for the Britons.
* Albion is outrebounding its opponents by 4.0 rebounds per game.
* The Britons were 14-13 last season and 9-5 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series 4-2.
* Rose-Hulman won 72-58 last season.
* The most recent Albion series win was 69-64 in December 2019.
