Women's Soccer Travels to Hanover for HCAC Title Game on Saturday at 1 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Indiana -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team (9-2-6) travels to Hanover College (12-2-3) for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship Game on Saturday at 1 pm. 

HCAC & NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman has won 3 HCAC regular season titles with its most recent regular season title occurring in 2019.  The Fightin' Engineers have won 2 HCAC Tournament championships (2007, 2019) and made 2 NCAA Division III Tournament appearances.
* Hanover has won 11 HCAC regular season titles, including the 2020 and 2022 seasons.  Hanover has won 7 HCAC Tournament championships, including each of the last 2 HCAC Tournament titles.  The Panthers have won 2 NCAA Division III Tournament games in program history.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 9-2-6 on the season and 6-0-3 in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers are unbeaten in their last 15 games with a 9-0-6 record in those games.
* The Rose-Hulman defense set two school record streaks of eight consecutive shutouts and 865 minutes without allowing a goal during this season. The shutout minutes streak is a record for both men's and women's soccer programs.
* Rose-Hulman has allowed just 2 goals in its last 11 games.
* Kyra Hicks and Lauren Marquardt each lead the team in goals with 8 on the season.
* Lane Lawrence has 6 goals and Sarah Shoemaker has 5.
* Kiley McKee leads the Fightin' Engineers with 7 assists on the season including an assist in the 1-1 tie with Hanover. Alicia Rodriguez, Kiana Martin, and Hicks have each added 6 assists on the season as well.
* Natalie Dillon has a record of 9-2-6 with a 0.53 goals against avearage and 58 this season.  Dillon has been a part of nine team shutouts and only allowed more than 1 goal in a game once this season.  Dillon also had key saves in Rose-Hulman's 3-2 penalty kick shootout win over Anderson after a scoreless draw in the HCAC Semifinal Round.

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover enters with a 12-2-3 record and a 7-0-2 mark in conference play.
* Hanover is unbeaten in its last 13 games with a 10-0-3 record in those games.
* Hanover has allowed just 2 goals in its last 10 games.
* Beth Cook leads the HCAC with 20 goals and 47 points.
* Nora Ludwig has provided scoring depth with 9 goals and 5 assists.
* Maggie Hinegardner has started 15 of the 17 games for Hanover with a 0.78 GAA, a 10-2-3 record and 53 saves.

SERIES NOTES:
* Hanover leads the all-time series 12-9-4.
* Rose-Hulman and Hanover tied 1-1 on Oct. 26 this season.  Kiana Martin scored for Rose-Hulman and Josie Dattilo scored for Hanover.  The Panthers outshot Rose-Hulman 12-7.
* Hanover holds a narrow 3-2-2 series lead since 2019.
* Rose-Hulman's last win over Hanover was a 1-0 victory in the 2019 HCAC championship game.
