TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Wabash College in a Community Night home matchup on Tuesday December 20 at 7:30 pm. In addition to free admission for all fans, Rose-Hulman men's basketball players and coaches will meet and greet with children in attendance following the game.

ROSE-HULMAN (5-5, 2-2 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman dropped their second consecutive game against Hanover on Wednesday night and Mount St. Joseph on the previous Saturday.
* Three point shooting has been a big part of these losses as the Fightin' Engineers have allowed 29 threes to just 10 threes made.
* Earlier this month, Rose-Hulman retained the John Mutchner Cup for the 10th consecutive year with a 77-65 win at Earlham. The Cup is named in honor of the former Rose-Hulman men's basketball coach and athletic director who was a standout at Earlham and is a member of both Athletic Halls of Fame.
* Miles McGowen tied a career-high with 22 points in the loss to Hanover. Bradley Harden and Terry Hicks were both in double figures with 12 and 11.
* McGowen also led the Fightin' Engineers with 18 points in the loss to Mount St. Joseph.
* Terry Hicks scored a career-high 21 points, and Kobe Stoudemire added a career-high 15 points to pace Rose-Hulman in the win at Earlham.
* Nick Sales is completing his first year at Rose-Hulman. Sales was associate head coach at Marietta for the past nine seasons where he won seven OAC regular season championships, made three NCAA tournaments, and reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2022. Sales was 204-45 on staff at Marietta.
* Rose-Hulman hosts the team's Community Night Game with free admission on Tuesday Dec. 20 vs. Wabash in their final game before the Holiday break.

WABASH (7-3, 2-1 NCAC) GAME NOTES:
* The Little Giants are coming off of a 28-4 season that ended with a Final Four loss to Elmhurst.
* Wabash sits at 7-3 on the season and 2-1 in the NCAC. The Little Giants are coming off of a 1-point loss to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
* The Little Giants have HCAC wins over Mount St. Joseph, Hanover, and Anderson. Their three losses have come to Marietta and Earlham as well as Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.
* This will be only the third away game for Wabash this year with their first two being a 2-point win over Anderson and 1-point loss to Ohio Wesleyan.
* Ahmoni Jones leads the Little Giants with 15.4 points and 5.9 rebounds on the season including two 33-point performances in the win over Denison and the loss to Marietta.
* Vinny Bucilla and Edreece Redmond are each averaging over 12.0 points per game and are shooting at a combined 38% three on the season.
* The two other Little Giants starters, Champ McCorkle and Sam Comer, are both averaging in double figures with 11.1 and 12.2 points.
* The Fightin' Engineers will have an advantage in bench scoring as Wabash is averaging just 13.5 points per game compared to 26.6 points for Rose-Hulman.
* The Little Giants will host Edgewood on December 30 for their final non-conference game before NCAC play kicks off.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Wabash leads the all-time series 74-44 after dominating the early years of the series.
* The series is tied 36-36 going back to 1968. 
* Wabash won last season's meeting by a score of 67-64.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last two meetings in Hulbert Arena in 2019 and 2017.
* Three of the last four Rose-Hulman losses have been one possession ball games.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 19-15 on their home floor against the Little Giants.
