ANDERSON, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team won 11 events in a 180-76 victory at Anderson University to close the team's pre-Holiday meet schedule on Friday night.
Tori Kinnamon,
Natalija Pumpurs and
Cate Stauffer led the Fightin' Engineers with two individual event wins. Kinnamon won the 100-butterfly (1:08.67) and 1000-freestyle (12:11.89). Pumpurs claimed the 50-butterfly (28.39) and 50-backstroke (31.03). Stauffer added wins in the 200-freestyle (2:10.57) and 500-freestyle (5:50.50).
Pumpurs and Stauffer enjoyed perfect 4-for-4 nights in event victories by helping both Rose-Hulman relay teams finish first. Pumpurs opened and Stauffer closed both the 200-medley (2:03.26) and 400-freestyle (4:10.33) relay wins.
Rose-Hulman returns to action on January 13 at Valparaiso University.
