MEDIA GAME NOTES

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team travels to Earlham College on Tuesday at 7:30 pm in a game rescheduled in advance of an incoming winter storm system.

HCAC BASKETBALL NOTE:
* The HCAC announced a revised conference tournament procedure for the 2022 event.  For this year only, the HCAC Tournament will consist of 8 teams.  Quarterfinal games are Feb. 20; semifinal games are Feb. 25; and the final is set for Feb. 26.

ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman and Earlham meet for the second time this season on Tuesday in Richmond.  The Fightin' Engineers won the previous meeting 64-57 on Dec. 8 at Hulbert Arena.
* Max Chaplin (13.4 ppg), Dillon Duff (11.0 ppg) and Terry Hicks (10.9 ppg) each average double-figures in scoring this year.
* Samvit Ram (7.2 ppg) and Jackson Kabrick (5.8 ppg) have started all 17 games for the Fightin' Engineers so far this season.
* Rose-Hulman has a record of 8-1 when allowing 65 points or less.  The Fightin' Engineers are outrebounding their opponents by a margin of 4.2 rebounds per game.
* Rose-Hulman has a roster featuring players across the nation. The 18 players came to Terre Haute from nine states.
* Rusty Loyd was named to the 2021-22 Silver Waves Media List of 50 Impactful Head Coach in NCAA Division III men's basketball.  Loyd has a career record of 115-75 in his 8th year at RHIT.
* After Tuesday's game, Rose-Hulman returns home for its annual Senior Day Game on Saturday at 3 pm against Bluffton.

THE OPPOSITION:
* Earlham has won 6 of its last 9 games to improve to 7-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
* Jaden Terry leads the team in scoring at 18.1 points per game.
* Kolden Vanlandingham (15.9 ppg) and Tommy Makabu (11.1 ppg) also average double figures in scoring for Earlham.
* After Tuesday's game, Earlham travels to Hanover on Saturday at 3 pm.
