TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team travels to Defiance College at 1 pm on Saturday for a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup.
HCAC BASKETBALL NOTE:
* The HCAC announced a revised conference tournament procedure for the 2022 event. For this year only, the HCAC Tournament will consist of 8 teams. Quarterfinal games are Feb. 20; semifinal games are Feb. 25; and the final is set for Feb. 26.
ROSE-HULMAN GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman and Defiance meet for the first time this season after their previously scheduled meeting was canceled.

Jamie Baum (13.1 ppg),
Rowan Hein (11.8 ppg) and
Jordan Barlow (10.7 ppg) and combine for 35.6 of Rose-Hulman's 66.9 points per contest.

Jamie Baum matched her career-high total with 23 points in Wednesday's 62-57 win at Manchester. Â
Rowan Hein joined Baum in double figures with 13 points.

Ashley Black more than doubled her previous career-high scoring total with 25 points in a win at Mount St. Joseph. Her prior career high was 12 points vs. Transylvania. Â
* Four Fightin' Engineers have made 10 or more three-pointers this season. Â

DEFIANCE GAME NOTES:

* Taylor Steinbrunner (12.8 ppg) and Nysha Speed (11.1 ppg) average double figures in scoring for the Yellow Jackets.
