Men's Tennis Heads to North Central for Saturday Doubleheader

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology travels to the Naperville (Ill.) Tennis Club for matches against North Central and Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday.  The North Central match is set for 12:45 pm Central Time, with the Milwaukee School of Engineering match set for 3:45 pm Central Time.

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands 1-1 on the season with a win over Wabash and a loss at NCAA Division II Southern Indiana.
Grant Paradowski led Rose-Hulman with wins in singles and doubles play to earn HCAC Player of the Week honors after the Wabash match.
* The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team has been picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this season, according to the league's preseason coaches poll.
* Rose-Hulman had five "Players to Watch" in the HCAC preseason release. Senior Joshua Giambattista and sophomore Hart Howard are returning first-team all-league selections.  Senior Mark Slaninka joined Paradowski and Owen Reynolds as other Players to Watch.
* The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team reached its 6th consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament last season after winning the HCAC Tournament championship for the 6th straight year.
* Rose-Hulman has a record of 51-1 in its last 52 matches against HCAC competition entering the 2021-22 season.
* After Saturday's match, Rose-Hulman travels to North Central for matches against the host Cardinals and MSOE on Saturday Feb. 19.
