TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology opens the 2021-22 men's tennis season with a single match at Wabash College on Saturday Feb. 5 (replacing a previously scheduled doubleheader).  Match time is 1 pm.  Because the match will be played on the indoor courts at Wabash, live video will be available.

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team has been picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this season, according to the league's preseason coaches poll.
* Rose-Hulman had five "Players to Watch" in the HCAC preseason release. Senior Joshua Giambattista and sophomore Hart Howard are returning first-team all-league selections.  Senior Mark Slaninka and freshmen Grant Paradowski and Owen Reynolds were also selected as Players to Watch.
* The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team reached its 6th consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament last season after winning the HCAC Tournament championship for the 6th straight year.
* Rose-Hulman finished 7-4 and has a record of 51-1 in its last 52 matches against HCAC competition entering the 2021-22 season.
* After this pair of matches, Rose-Hulman returns to action on Feb. 12 at Southern Indiana and Feb. 13 with a match against Case Western Reserve at Mayfield, Ohio.
