TERRE HAUTE, Indiana -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team hosts the Wash U Bears in the Grey Matters Brain Cancer Awareness game. Money will be raised through donations and a silent auction that will be donated St. Jude Children's Hospital.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come in at 3-2-1 on the season, and they are unbeaten in their last four games.
* In the three match win streak, the Fightin' Engineers out-scored their opponents 13-3 including three goals from
Sarah Shoemaker.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off of a draw with DePauw that saw a goal from
Kyra Hicks and five saves from
Natalie Dillon.
* Four Fightin' Engineers have scored three goals this season including Hicks, Shoemaker,
Camille Clark, and
Lauren Marquardt.
* Hicks and
Kiana Martin lead the team in assists with three.
* Dillon has been big in goal with 19 saves in six games this season. She is only allowing 1.06 goals per game this season.
WASHINGTON U NOTES:
* The Bears come in at 3-1-3 with their lone loss coming to Cal Lutheran.
* Their three ties have been with Fontbonne, #16 Trinity (TX), and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
* The Bears play on Friday night at Wheaton before making the trip to Terre Haute on Saturday.
* Maggie Brett leads Wash U with 5 goals on the season.
* Sidney Conner has made 18 saves in seven games this season and has four clean sheets while only allowing 0.57 goals per game.
SERIES NOTES:
* Washington leads the all-time series with Rose-Hulman 3-0.
* The Bears won the meeting last season by a score of 1-0 with a third minute goal.
