TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team travels to Anderson University for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener on Saturday at 1:30 pm.  The Fightin' Engineers are the defending HCAC champions heading into the 2022 season.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished 7-0 in the HCAC last season and have won nine consecutive games against HCAC competition dating to the spring season that took place during the 2020-21 academic year.
* Jeff Sokol has a career record of 63-20 against HCAC competition,  including 16-3 since the start of the 2019 season.
* Miguel Robertson has passed for 505 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2 starts to lead the Rose-Hulman offense this season.  Robertson is 41-70 through the air with 3 touchdown passes.
* Daniel Huery leads the team with 300 receiving yards on 22 receptions with 2 touchdowns.  Adam Tice-Saliu has added 14 catches for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns, and Jailen Hobbs has 9 receptions for 81 yards.
* Tice-Saliu ranks No. 13 in Rose-Hulman school history with 1,225 receiving yards entering this week's action.
* Hobbs currently holds the Rose-Hulman career school record for average yards per punt return (11.7).
* Grant Ripperda leads the ground attack with 162 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
* The defense has been led by Kyzer Bowen with 30 tackles, 2 tackles-for-loss, 1 sack and 1 blocked kick.
* Tyce Miller (5) and Cameron Dorsey (4) lead the defense in pass breakups.
* Miller and Winston Amankwah, who earned HCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors against Trine, currently lead the defense with 2 interceptions each.

ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson has been led by quarterback Nathan Clayton, who has completed 48-of-97 passes for 457 yards.
* Andre Moore leads the rushing attack with 75 yards.
* Julian Holguin has a team-high 134 receiving yards on nine receptions.
* Cayden Sotelo paces the Ravens with 23 tackles along with 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 2 pass breakups.
