TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team hosts Franklin College on Wednesday night at 7:30 PM. This will be the Fightin' Engineers' first game since their December 20 loss to Wabash, and it will be the second of four consecutive home games for the team.
ROSE-HULMANÂ (5-6, 2-2Â HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* After winning 4 in a row, the Fightin' Engineers have fallen in three games in a row to Mt. St. Joseph, Hanover, and Wabash.
* The Fightin' Engineers are just 1-1 on their home floor after competing in nine of their first 10 games were on the road.
* Rose-Hulman sits at 2-2 in the conference with wins over Transylvania and Earlham.

Miles McGowen leads the team with 12.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

Max Chaplin is averaging double figures at 11.5 points per game as well.

Nick Sales is completing his first year at Rose-Hulman. Sales was associate head coach at Marietta for the past nine seasons where he won seven OAC regular season championships, made three NCAA tournaments, and reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2022. Sales was 204-45 on staff at Marietta.

* Franklin sits at 7-4 on the season and 3-1 in the HCAC.Â
* Franklin picked up a pair of wins over Transylvania and Earlham during the Holiday Break.
* Carter Crowe has been lights out this season with 16.0 points per game. He is shooting 58% from the field and 52% from three on the season.
* Trey Flatt and Lynn King have provided scoring depth with 11.1 and 9.5 points per game.
* Ryan Bostic ranks second on the team in 3-point accuracy at 44.7%.
* Franklin hosts Anderson on Saturday at 3:00 PM in a big HCAC contest.

* Franklin leads the all-time series 48-40.
* The Fightin' Engineers won both regular season meetings last season 71-64 and 86-60.Â
