TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team looks to bounce back from their loss on Wednesday with a road game at Transylvania on Saturday at 1:00 PM. The Fightin' Engineers fell to Anderson on Wednesday, snapping a four-game winning streak.
ROSE-HULMANÂ (9-7, 6-3Â HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman is 5-6 on the road this season. They played nine of their first ten games on the road, but this three-game road trip is their first since December 14.

Max Chaplin is the current HCAC Player of the Week and leads the team with 14.1 points per game. He has recorded career-highs in points in each of the last two wins over Manchester and Defiance with 23 and 26 points.

Miles McGowen also averages double figures with 11.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

Bradley Harden,
Willie Bowman, and
Kobe Stoudemire have been lights out from three, shooting a combined 56-130 (43%) this season.
* Chaplin led the Fightin' Engineers with 26Â points in the 77-57Â win over Defiance on Saturday.
* McGowen added 16 points, and
Terry Hicks added a near double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

Isaac Farnsworth also grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and added 6 points in Saturday's win.

Nick Sales is completing his first year at Rose-Hulman. Sales was associate head coach at Marietta for the past nine seasons where he won seven OAC regular season championships, made three NCAA tournaments, and reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2022. Sales was 204-45 on staff at Marietta.
* Rose-Hulman returns home on Wednesday night with a matchup with Hanover at 7:30 PM. The Fightin' Engineers fell to Hanover 83-71 on the road earlier this season.
TRANSYLVANIA (8-8, 5-4Â HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Transylvania sits at 8-8 on the season and 5-4 in the HCAC.Â
* The Pioneers had won four straight games prior to their 76-70 loss at Hanover on Wednesday.
* Jaylen Green leads all scorers with 13.6 points per game this season. He is shooting 34% from three and adds 4.1 rebounds per game.
* Colby Napier continues 11.9 points per game as well on 33% shooting from the outside.
* Hunter Penn dominates the paint for the Pioneers with 9.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per game this season.
* Transylvania will stay at home on Wednesday night as they host Manchester at 3:00 PM.

* Transylvania leads the all-time series 24-15.
* The Fightin' Engineers won the first meeting this season 74-59 behind 19 points from Chaplin and 16 from Bowman.
* Rose-Hulman has won three straight against the Pioneers.
