TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team travels to Lexington, Kentucky for a 3:30 PM match on Saturday with the Transylvania Pioneers.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the weekend at 8-4-1 on the season and 4-1 in the HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off a 1-0 loss to Manchester on Wednesday night. The loss snapped a streak of 36 consecutive HCAC matches without a loss for the Fightin' Engineers. It was the first HCAC loss for the Fightin' Engineers since October 16, 2019.
* The goal allowed also snapped the streak of 479 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal for Rose-Hulman. The streak ends as the 8th longest in program history.
* Caleb Urban is the Fightin' Engineers all-time career assists leader and leads the team and the HCAC with seven assists this season.
* Connor Patton leads the team offensively with six goals this year which ranks 6th in the HCAC. Patton also ranks second in the HCAC with three game-winning goals this season.
* Urban (17) and Patton (13) sit 6th and 7th in the HCAC in points this season. Tyler Eldridge ranks 4th in the HCAC in assists with 5 and 9th in points with 11.
* John Biederstedt ranks 2nd in the HCAC with six clean sheets this season. He also ranks 2nd in goals against average at 1.00. In conference games, Biederstedt is the only goalie in the conference that is averaging less than 1 goal allowed per game at 0.2.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Wednesday evening as they travel to Franklin College for another battle between two teams in the top half of the table.

TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* The Pioneers come into the weekend at 3-6-3 on the season and 2-3 in the HCAC.
* Transylvania is coming off a 7-0 drubbing of Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday night in which they out shot the Lions 28-3.
* The Pioneers also picked up a shutout victory over Anderson on Sunday, a 4-0 win at home.
* This is the fourth and final game of the 4-game home stand for the Pioneers.
* A trio of players lead the team with 4 goals this season including Nathan White, Dylan Barnes, and Gus Dickman.
* Reece Heisel leads the team with 3 assists which is 8th in the HCAC.
* In goal, Nolan Yantz has been the mainstay with 8 starts, and he has made 29 saves with 10 goals allowed. He curently ranks 3rd in the HCAC in GAA with 1.25 and 3rd with 3 clean sheets.
* Transylvania will return to action next Wednesday as they travel to Earlham Quakers at 7 PM.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series over Transylvania 12-7-7.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won six straight games over the Pioneers, and they are unbeaten in the last eight matches.
* Rose-Hulman picked up a 3-2 win in Terre Haute last season. The Fightin' Engineers trailed 2-0 after just five minutes of action, but a pair of goals by Takezo Kelly tied it up and Caleb Urban scored the game-winner for the come-from-behind victory.
* The last Transylvania win in the series came back in 2017 where Transylvania won both meetings that season.
