TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team travels to Franklin for their third consecutive game away from home on Wednesday at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the weekend at 8-4-2 on the season and 4-1-1 in the HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off a 0-0 draw with Transylvania and a 1-0 loss to Manchester last week. The loss snapped a streak of 36 consecutive HCAC matches without a loss for the Fightin' Engineers. This two game stretch also marks the first time since October 30, 2013 that the Fightin' Engineers went winless in back-to-back conference games.
* The goal allowed to Manchester also snapped the streak of 479 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal for Rose-Hulman. The streak ends as the 8th longest in program history.
* Caleb Urban is the Fightin' Engineers all-time career assists leader and leads the team and the HCAC with seven assists this season.
* Connor Patton leads the team offensively with six goals this year which ranks 6th in the HCAC. Patton also ranks second in the HCAC with three game-winning goals this season.
* Urban (17) and Patton (13) sit 5th and 8th in the HCAC in points this season. Tyler Eldridge ranks 4th in the HCAC in assists with 5 and 10th in points with 11.
* John Biederstedt ranks 2nd in the HCAC with six clean sheets this season. He also ranks 2nd in goals against average at 1.00. In conference games, Biederstedt is the only goalie in the conference that is averaging less than 1 goal allowed per game at 0.2.
* With a win on Wednesday, the Fightin' Engineers will clinch their spot in the 2023 HCAC Tournament.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to their home field on Saturday, October 25 at 3:30 PM as they host the Bluffton Beavers for their 2023 Senior Day game.

FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin comes in at 3-7-4 on the season and 2-2-2 in the HCAC.
* The Grizzlies started the year at 0-5-2, but they have turned things around going into the conference season.
* Franklin has not won a game in the month of October at 0-2-2, but they have picked up a pair of draws against Hanover and Defiance.
* The Grizzlies are averaging 2.33 goals per game in conference play, and they have scored multiple goals in 4 of their 6 games.
* Their 0-0 draw with Defiance on Saturday is the first time the Grizzlies have been shutout since September 9 against Illinois Tech.
* Jon Moore leads the team in goals with 5, and Eddy Yousak has added 4.
* In goal, Ian Rowe has made 67 saves to just 20 goals allowed and has recorded 2 clean sheets this season.
* Franklin returns to their home pitch again on Saturday as they host Earlham for an 8 PM start.
