TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team hosts the Bluffton Beavers at 3:30 PM as they celebrate Senior Day. The Fightin' Engineers will honor their senior class prior to the start of the game.

SENIOR DAY NOTES: 
* Nick Appleton - Nick has appeared in six games at Rose-Hulman with 1 career shot. The mechanical engineering member from Colorado Springs, Colorado is a member of the US Army ROTC and was a Sophomore Advisor in Deming Hall.
* Jacob Dirienzo - Jacob has appeared in 54 career games with 21 starts and has career totals of 4 goals, 2 assists, and 10 points. 2022 HCAC sportsmanship team honoree is a member of the BIOMEDICAL Honor Society, Team Rose Motorsports, an SRC Supervisor, and the House Manager for the Triangle Fraternity. The biomedical engineering major from Frankfort, Illinois was also named the Greek Leader of the Year and the Triangle Fraternity Brother of the Year.
* Peter Jacob - The HCAC All-Academic Team honoree has appeared in 19 career games with 1 career shot. The civil engineering major from Salt Lake City, Utah is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Noblitt Scholar Program, Engineers Without Borders, and the Triangle Fraternity.
* Tatenda Mafa - Tatenda has appeared in 23 career games with 6 career starts and totals of 6 goals, 2 assists, and 14 points. His three game-winning goals in 2021 rank 14^th in school history for a single season. The Biochemistry major from St. Catharines, Ontario is a Dean's List honoree and a member of the Premedical Club.
* Kai Moore - The 2-time 2^nd-Team All-HCAC honoree has started 59 of his 60 career games with totals of 4 assists and 16 shots as a staple member of the Rose-Hulman midfield. The biomedical engineering major from Pendleton, Indiana is a 2-time HCAC All-Academic team selection and a CSC Academic All-District honoree. On campus, Kai is an 8-time Dean's List honoree and a member of the Triangle Fraternity, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers.
* Connor Patton - The 2-time 2^nd-Team All-HCAC honoree has started 59 of his 60 career games with totals of 4 assists and 16 shots as a staple member of the Rose-Hulman midfield. The biomedical engineering major from Pendleton, Indiana is a 2-time HCAC All-Academic team selection and a CSC Academic All-District honoree. On campus, Kai is an 8-time Dean's List honoree and a member of the Triangle Fraternity, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers.
* Quincy Perry - Quincy has appeared in 13 career games with 3 career starts, and he was named to the HCAC All-Academic team. The chemical engineering major from Elm Grove, Wisconsin is 7-time Dean's List honoree, a tutor for Ask Rose, and a member of Engineers Without Borders and the Triangle Fraternity.
* Jackson Seida - Jackson has appeared in 37 career games and 10 starts with 10 goals, 1 assist, and 21 points, despite missing most of this season due to injury, and he ranks 14^th in school history in shots per game with 1.81. The mechanical engineering major from Frankfort, Illinois has been named to the Dean's List in every quarter at Rose-Hulman and was named to the CSC Academic All-District team last year. On campus, Jackson is a member of the Triangle Fraternity and serves as a professor's assistant.
* Luke Sheerin - Luke has been a crucial member of the Rose-Hulman men's soccer team over the last four years, and he earned HCAC All-Academic team honors in 2022. The mechanical engineering major from Caseyville, Illinois is a Dean's List honoree and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Triangle Fraternity.
* Owen Trudt - Owen has appeared in 27 games with 20 starts for career totals of 9 goals, 4 assists, and 22 points, and he currently ranks 13^th in school history in points per game with 0.81 and 14^th in goals per game with 0.33. The computer science and image recognition double major from Fairview Height, Illinois is a Dean's List honoree and a member of the Triangle Fraternity and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers.
* Caleb Urban - Caleb is a 3-time 1st-team all-HCAC selection with 70 career starts in 78 appearances at Rose-Hulman. Last season, Caleb was also named a 2^nd-Team All-American and a 1^st-Team All-Region honoree. He has career totals of 14 goals, 31 assists and 59 points, and his 31 assists broke the school record for career assists in program history. The civil engineering major from Martinsville, Indiana is a 10-time Dean's List honoree and a member of the Triangle Fraternity and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the weekend matchup against the Beavers with a record of 9-4-2 overall and 5-1-1 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a big win over Franklin College on Wednesday night with a final score of 3-0.
* The Fightin' Engineers have only allowed one goal in their seven conference games this season. 
* Caleb Urban is the Fightin' Engineers all-time career assists leader and leads the team and the HCAC with seven assists this season.
* Connor Patton leads the team offensively with seven goals this year which ranks 6th in the HCAC. Patton also ranks second in the HCAC with four game-winning goals this season.
* Urban ranks fifth in the conference leading the team with 19 points. Tyler Eldridge ranks seventh in the conference with 12 points followed by Patton ranking tied for eighth with 15 points.
* John Biederstedt leads the HCAC with eight clean sheets this season. He also ranks 2nd in goals against average at 0.846.
* In conference games, Biederstedt is the only goalie in the conference that is averaging less than 1 goal allowed per game at 0.143.
* The Fightin' Engineers will wrap up their 2023 regular season at home on Wednesday, 10/25 hosting Hanover College at 7 PM. 

BLUFFTON NOTES:
* Bluffton enters the matchup with the Engineers with a record of 7-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the HCAC. 
* The team has dropped their last two contests falling to Defiance 0-1 and Hanover 3-4. 
* Elijah Zimmerman is the teams leader in goals with seven and points with 17 so far this year.
* Andrew Ireland leads the team with four assists.
* Angel Velasco-Urbina represents the team in goal with 74 saves and a goals against average of 2.50. 
* Bluffton will wrap up their 2023 regular season on the road at Manchester University on Wednesday, 10/25 at 7:30 PM.
