Women's Volleyball Travels to Manchester Saturday at 2 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team will travel to face Manchester University in HCAC action on Saturday, 10/21 at 2 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters Saturday's HCAC match against Manchester with a record of 12-10 overall and 2-2 in the HCAC. 
* The Fightin' Engineers earned a victory over Anderson University in their last contest with a final of 3-1. 
* Lily Ebright currently leads the team and ranks third in all of NCAA Division III with 6.58 digs per set. 
* Ebright also leads the team and the conference with 500 digs which ranks 3rd in all of NCAA Division III.
* She has surpassed the 1,000 career digs mark totaling 1,052 so far in only two years with the team. 
Kate Wood leads the team and ranks 9th in the conference with 186 kills so far this season.
Allie Fults is the Engineers star at the net leading the team and the conference and 32nd in NCAA Division III with 76 blocks so far this season. She is tied for first in the conference and 9th in Division III with 24 solo blocks.
Jillian Gregg is the standout setter leading Rose-Hulman and ranking third in the HCAC with 481 assists. She also ranks tied for third in the conference with 34 service aces. 
Sophia Koop is also tied for third in the conference and is leading the team with 34 service aces this season. 
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action hosting Franklin College on Tuesday, 10/24 for their Cancer Research Game at 7 PM.

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester enters their matchup against the Fightin' Engineers with a record of 13-7 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC. 
* The Spartans earned a win in their last contest agaisnt the Franklin Grizzlies with a final of 3-1. 
* The team's offense is led by Joy Maze with 271 kills this season averaging 3.66 kills per set. 
* Emma Tone is the team's leading setter tallying 263 assists this season. 
* Defensively, the team is led by Tiffany Watterson with 332 digs averaging 4.55 digs per set. 
*  Lily Lichtenbarger is their force at the net leading the team with 55 blocks this year. 
* After hosting the Engineers, Manchester will return to action hosting Bluffton University on Wednesday, 10/25 at 6:30 PM.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between the two teams with a record of 15-9 against the Spartans.
* The Fightin' Engineers bested the Spartans last season with a final of 3-1.
* Manchester earned a win against Rose-Hulman in the 2021 season with a final of 0-3.
