TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team will host Hanover College in the final game of the 2023 regular season on Wednesday, 10/25 at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the matchup with Hanover at 10-4-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the HCAC.
* The team has solidified their spot in the HCAC Tournament and is fighting for their chance at a first round with a win against the Panthers. 
* The Engineers picked up a win in their last contest defeating the Bluffton Beavers with a final of 3-0. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have only allowed one goal in their eight conference games this season. 
* Caleb Urban is the Fightin' Engineers all-time career assists leader and leads the team and the HCAC with eight assists this season.
* Connor Patton leads the team offensively with eight goals this year which ranks 5th in the HCAC. Patton also ranks second in the HCAC with four game-winning goals this season.
* Urban ranks fifth in the conference leading the team with 20 points. Patton follows him ranking tied for sixth with 17 points and Tyler Eldridge ranks tenth in the conference with 12 points
* John Biederstedt leads the HCAC with nine clean sheets this season. He also ranks 2nd in goals against average at 0.786.
* In conference games, Biederstedt leads all goalies with a .125 goals against average. 
* With a win, Rose-Hulman goes on to compete in the HCAC Semifinal on Wednesday, 11/1. With a loss to the Panthers, Rose-Hulman will host the opening round of the tournament on Saturday, 10/28. 

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover enters the final match of the season with a record of 8-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the HCAC.
* The Panthers have clinched their spot in the HCAC Tournament and will be the second or third seed depending on league results.
* Hanover has won their last three matches against conference opponents. 
* They picked up a win in their last contest defeating Anderson University with a final score of 3-2. 
* Patricio Campos leads the team with seven goals and 16 points this season. 
* Omar Dizdar is the team's leader in assists totaling three on the season so far. 
* Luciano Salemi is the team's goalie recording 49 saves with a goals against average of 1.41.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series with a record of 21-8-9 overall against the Hanover Panthers.
* The teams tied in last seasons HCAC Championship leading to a penalty kick shootout that was won by Rose-Hulman 5-4.
* Their match during the regular season last year also ended in a tie 0-0. Rose-Hulman holds the last victory during the 2021 season with a final score of 1-0.
