TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team hosts the Hanover College Panthers on Saturday at 2 PM for the annual Rose-Hulman Hall of Fame Game. At halftime, the Fightin' Engineers will honor their four 2023 Hall of Fame inductees including Paul Bouagnon, Creasy Clauser, Anna (Lewer) Dorsey, and Kyle Kovach.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters this week at 5-2 on the season following their 50-35 win over Franklin on Saturday.

Grant Ripperda (703) andÂ
Jay Smith (456) rank 2nd and 5th in the HCAC in rushing yards this season, and they are 4th and 3rd respectively in rushing touchdowns with 6 and 7.

Miguel Robertson leads the HCAC in passing efficiency (172.2) and ranks 2nd in both passing touchdowns (19) and passing yards (1647).

Jailen Hobbs currently leads the HCAC in receiving yards (754) and receiving touchdowns (10), and he ranks 2nd in receptions with 42.
* Hobbs is the reigning 2-time HCAC Special Teams Player of the Year after leading the league in kickoff return and punt return average last season, and he is coming off an All-American season in 2022 as he became the first two-sport All-American in school history in track and football. He was the first HCAC Athlete of the Year in school history in 2022-23.
* Hobbs was named the HCAC Offensive Player of the Week and earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors after putting up 14 catches, 205 yards, and 3 touchdowns in the win over Trine.

Kyle Rehberg leads the HCAC in field goals made (8) and ranks 5th with 53 points scored. He was also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after going 7-7 on extra points and making his career-long 35-yard field goal in the win.

* Toler earned preseason All-American honors from The CFB Network. He was a 1st-team all-HCAC punter in 2022, and he has been named the HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week twice this season.

Daniel Huery earned preseason All-American recognition from D3football.com. He was a 2nd-Team all-Region honoree and a 1st-team all-HCAC honoree in 2022.

Jeff Sokol is serving in his 13th year at Rose-Hulman with a career record of 82-42 and the top winning percentage in program history at .661. Sokol has led Rose-Hulman to three HCAC titles and NCAA Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2021.
* Rose-Hulman will return to the gridiron on Saturday, November 4 as they travel to Defiance to take on the Yellow Jackets in their second to last regular season game.
HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover comes into the weekend at 5-2 on the season and 2-2 in the HCAC.
* The Panthers picked up a big 38-14 win over Trine in non-conference play.
* Hanover dropped last week's game to Mount St. Joseph 52-27. They trailed 38-0 at the half.
* The Hanover defense leads the HCAC this season with 16.7 points allowed per game. The Panthers had only allowed 62 points prior to their 52-27 loss to Mt. St. Joseph last week.
* Hanover quarterback Kolton Richards threw for 1,358 yards in his first six games of the season. Richards threw just six passes last week before being taken out of the game. He is not on the 2-Deep coming into today's game.
* Hunter Eads is tied for third in the HCAC with six receiving touchdowns this season. He trails Rose-Hulman's
Jailen Hobbs who leads the HCAC with 10.
* David Wall leads the HCAC in sacks this season with 6.5. He also ranks 6th in the HCAC with 8.5 tackles for a loss this season.Â
* Luke Brody is one of just four players in the HCAC with three or more interceptions this season.Â
* The Panthers host Anderson next Saturday for their second to last game of the year.
SERIES HISTORY:
* The all-time series between Rose-Hulman and Hanover is dead even at 36-36-2.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last two meetings including a 47-17 victory last season.
* Rose-Hulman outscored the Panthers 23-0 in the second half of last season's matchup.Â
