TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will open the 2023 HCAC Tournament on Saturday at 7 PM as they host the Anderson Ravens.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-3-5 and 6-2-1 in the HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman earned the #4 seed in the HCAC Tournament after their 0-0 draw with Hanover on Wednesday.
*
Kyra Hicks leads the team with 8 goals on the season which ranks 5th in the HCAC.
* Hicks also ranks 2nd in the HCAC with 3 game-winning goals and 5th in points with 18.
*
Kiana Martin leads the team with 5 assists on the season which ranks 5th in the HCAC.

Lauren Marquardt,
Camille Clark, and
Jayden Gibson have all tallied four assists which is 8th in the HCAC.

Lily Doré has been exceptional in goal this season with 50 saves to just 13 goals allowed. She is 2nd in the HCAC in goals against average at 0.928 and save percentage (0.794), and she leads the HCAC in clean sheets with 7.
* With a win, Rose-Hulman will advance to the HCAC Semifinals to take on Hanover on Tuesday at 2 PM.
ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson comes into the HCAC Tournament at 7-7-2 on the season and 4-4-1 in the HCAC which was good for the #5 seed in the HCAC Tournament.
* The Ravens beat Earlham 4-0 on Wednesday to close out the regular season.
* Anderson has not won back-to-back games since September 13 and 16.
* Anhely Montes leads the team with 7 goals on the season.
* Bekah Blair and Emily Wilusz have each scored 5 goals this season.
* Hannah Thompson has added 3 assists to lead the team.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series over Anderson 21-1-3.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last six meetings with the Ravens, including last year's HCAC Tournament match which was decided in penalty kicks.
* Rose-Hulman beat Anderson 1-0 in the regular season thanks to a goal from
Lauren Marquardt. The Fightin' Engineers outshot the Ravens 22-4 in the game.
* Anderson picked up the lone win in the season series in 2018 with a 1-0 win.
