Rose-Hulman Falls to #8 Hampden-Sydney in Wooster Invitational Championship Game

WOOSTER, Ohio-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers faced #8 Hampden-Sydney on Saturday in the final game of the Wooster Invitational. The Engineers suffered a loss to the Tigers with a final score of 80-66. This drops the team to 2-1 overall this season.

Miles McGowen and Kobe Stoudemire were both named All-Tournament team for the Fightin' Engineers.

Rose-Hulman was led by a strong performance from Stoudemire totaling 15 points and shooting 5-10 from beyond the arc. Jack Jenniges and Daniel Savovic followed scoring 12 points each in the contest. Bradley Harden led the team on the glass recording seven rebounds.

The Engineers trailed by five points at the end of the first half with the score at 44-39. The Tigers put together a 24-9 run in the first 10-minutes of the second half to build their largest lead of the day at 68-48. The lead proved to be too much to overcome for Rose-Hulman as Hampden-Sydney would claim the win.
