TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team opens HCAC play on Wednesday night at 7:30 PM as they travel to Anderson to take on the Ravens,

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come in at 1-4 on the season after finishing 0-2 in the Midwest Challenge this past weekend.
* Rose-Hulman dropped a pair of close games to Illinois Wesleyan (79-65) and Depauw (76-70).
* The Fightin' Engineers took down the Caltech Beavers 65-54 thanks to 22 points from senior Ashley Black to pick up their first win of the season.
* Jamie Baum leads the team with 16.6 points per game this season. She scored a career-high 25 points in the loss to La Verne earlier this year.
* CK Gallegos-Rodriguez has done it all for the Fightin' Engineers this season, averaging 6.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks. She picked up a double-double with career-highs of 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Illinois Wesleyan.
* Manuella Shomba recorded career-highs of 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals in Sunday's loss to DePauw.
* Head coach Devrinn Paul is in his first season as a head coach with Rose-Hulman, and he picked up his first career coaching win last Monday.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to road on Saturday, December 2 as they travel to Bluffton to take on the Beavers in another HCAC game.

ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson comes into the game at 3-2 on the season with back-to-back wins over Kalamazoo and St. Mary's (IN).
* The Ravens dropped a pair of road games to Webster and #10 Ohio Northern.
* Sydney Sierota was named the HCAC Athlete of the Week this week after recording a triple-double in the win over St. Mary's. Sierota finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals in the win.
* Three Ravens are averaging over 9 points per game this season including Bella Larrison (9.8), Lauren Smith (9.4), and Mackinzie Tolliver (9.4).
* Brynn Beard leads the team with 2.6 assists per game.
* The Ravens return to action on Saturday, December 2 as they travel to Franklin for another HCAC contest.

* Anderson leads the all-time series 24-20 over Rose-Hulman.
* Rose-Hulman has won 15 of the last 18 matchups dating back to 2013.
