TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team comes into the season finale having had their five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night by Anderson. The Fightin' Engineers look to go into the HCAC Tournament on a high note with a win at Franklin on Friday at 7:30 PM.
HCAC TOURNAMENT:
* The Fightin' Engineers have clinched a spot in the HCAC Tournament. With a win or a Transylvania loss, the Fightin' Engineers will host the Pioneers in the opening round game on Sunday at 4 PM.
* Should Rose-Hulman lose, Transylvania win, and Anderson win, the Fightin' Engineers will be the five-seed and have to travel to Lexington for their opening round game on Sunday at 4 PM
* Manchester and Anderson are locked into the top-2 seeds. The winner of their game on Friday night will earn the number 1 seed and will host the Semifinals and Finals next weekend.
* Hanover and Franklin are locked in the #3 and #6 seeds and will play at Hanover on Sunday afternoon at 4 PM in the opening round.
ROSE-HULMAN (14-10, 11-6 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 6-6 on the road this season with wins in their last two road games at Bluffton and Manchester.
* The Fightin' Engineers had their five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night against Anderson 66-80. The Ravens shot 15-27 from three and were 8-10 at one point in the second half.

Max Chaplin leads the team with 13.8 points per game. He recorded his career high of 26 points in the win over Defiance earlier this season. He has scored in double figures in 11 straight games.

Miles McGowen also averages double figures with 12.6 points and 8.7 rebounds per game with seven double-doubles. He led the team on Saturday with 24 points and 15 rebounds in the win over Defiance.

Bradley Harden,
Kobe Stoudemire have been lights out from three, shooting a combined 103-230 (44.7%) this season.
* Harden and
Terry Hicks are each just shy of double figures at 9.8 and 9.6 points per game this season.
* Bowman leads the team in the last four games averaging 19.3 points per game. He added a career-high 26 points in the win over Bluffton. He also led the team with 19 points in Tuesday night's loss to Anderson.
* Chaplin (11) and Harden (10) were both in double figures as well on Tuesday for the Fightin' Engineers.

Nick Sales is completing his first year at Rose-Hulman. Sales was associate head coach at Marietta for the past nine seasons where he won seven OAC regular season championships, made three NCAA tournaments, and reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 2022. Sales was 204-45 on staff at Marietta.
* Rose-Hulman returns to the court on Sunday afternoon at 4 PM against Transylvania. The location of the game will be determined by Friday's games.
FRANKLIN (15-8, 13-3 HCAC) GAME NOTES:
* Franklin comes in at 13-11 on the season and 9-8 in the HCAC. They are currently locked into the 6-seed in the HCAC tournament.
* The Grizzlies have fallen in five of their last six games with their lone win coming at home against Bluffton.
* Franklin has won four straight home games dating back to the second-week of January.
* Franklin fell to Mount St. Joseph 68-76 on Tuesday night.
* Senior forward Carter Crowe leads the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game on 43% shooting from three.
* The Grizzlies sophomore duo of Ryan Bostic and Lynn King are both averaging double figures as well.
* Franklin will return to the court on Sunday afternoon at 4 PM at Hanover in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Franklin leads the all-time series 48-41.
* Chaplin led the team with 19 points in the 85-66 win earlier this season. Hicks and McGowen each added double-doubles in that one.
* The Fightin' Engineers also won both regular season meetings last season 71-64 and 86-60.
* Franklin upset Rose-Hulman 73-54 in the 2022 HCAC Semifinals.
* Rose-Hulman won 15 of 16 games from 2012 to 2019.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 14-14 all-time at Franklin.
