TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis season continues their 2023 spring season with a trip up US-40 to battle DePauw on Thursday at 6:30 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the match at 5-4 on the season with wins over a trio of MIAA teams including Albion, Adrian, and Calvin as well as a neutral court win over MSOE on Sunday.
* The Fightin' Engineers defeated MSOE 5-4 on Sunday afternoon with wins at #1 doubles and #1-4 singles.
Owen Reynolds and
Rhian Seneviratne each picked up two wins in the match.

Grant Paradowski and Seneviratne lead the team with eight wins at #2 and #3 singles.
*
 Reynolds and Seneviratne to lead the team in doubles wins with seven following their win on Sunday.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with 7 consecutive HCAC Tournament championships dating to 2015.
* The Fightin' Engineers have appeared in 7 straight NCAA Division III men's tennis tournaments entering the 2023 season.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with a 57-1 record in its last 58 matches against HCAC competition.
* The Fightin' Engineers return 2 all-HCAC players (Reynolds and
Paradowski) from the 2022 season. The returnees also include Seneviratne, an honorable mention all-HCAC selection.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season under the direction of first-year head coach
Greg Couch. Couch comes to Rose-Hulman with 5 seasons of college head coaching experience at NAIA Roosevelt University in Chicago.
DEPAUW NOTES:
* DePauw comes into the match at 3-4 on the season including wins in three of their last four matches.
* The Tigers have wins over North Central, Hanover, and Oberlin and have fallen to Chicago, Indiana Wesleyan, and Wash U this spring.
* DePauw will host NAIA Marian on Wednesday prior to hosting the Fightin' Engineers.
* Finley Buelte leads the team at #2 singles with eight singles wins on the season.
* Jake Watson leads the team in doubles wins with six while four other Tigers have added five doubles wins.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, the Tigers will take two weeks off before continuing conference play at Wooster on April 2.
SERIES HISTORY:
* DePauw leads the all-time series 26-0 going back to 1977.
* The Fightin' Engineers have only won three matches twice in 2019 and 1982.
* Paradowski is the only active Rose-Hulman player with a win over DePauw after winning at #5 singles last year.
