TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team falls to #26 Wisconsin-Oshkosh 5-16 in the final game of their three-game series on Monday evening.
Andy Krajecki added all of the Rose-Hulman offense with two home runs in the game. He brought home a run in the first inning to give the Fightin' Engineers an early 1-0 lead.
Krajecki then added a two-run home run in the third inning and a solo shot in the fifth inning.
Colter Couillard-Rodak also added a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Krajecki added three hits, and Couillard-Rodak added a pair.
Peter Rogers,
Josh Erpenbeck, Conner O'Connell, and
Blake Deckard all added one hit.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh recorded 16 runs and 15 hits on their way to a 16-5 victory.
The Fightin' Engineers fall to 7-6 on the season while the Titans improve to 9-2. Rose-Hulman will return to the field on Saturday for an HCAC doubleheader with Defiance.
