TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis season open their 2023 HCAC campaign with a home match with Anderson on Saturday, March 25 at 11 AM.
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the match at 5-7on the season with wins over a trio of MIAA teams including Albion, Adrian, and Calvin as well as a neutral court win over MSOE on Sunday.
* The Fightin' Engineers dropped three straight matches in four days to DePauw, Goshen, and Trine last week.

Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in single wins with nine.

Rhian Seneviratne is also over .500 in singles at 8-7.
* Seneviratne and
Owen Reynolds lead the team in doubles wins with nine.

Andrew Leonard also comes in with a .500 record in doubles at 8-8.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with 7 consecutive HCAC Tournament championships dating to 2015.
* The Fightin' Engineers have appeared in 7 straight NCAA Division III men's tennis tournaments entering the 2023 season.
* Rose-Hulman enters the match with a 57-1 record in its last 58 matches against HCAC competition.
* The Fightin' Engineers return 2 all-HCAC players (Reynolds and
Paradowski) from the 2022 season. The returnees also include Seneviratne, an honorable mention all-HCAC selection.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season under the direction of first-year head coach
Greg Couch. Couch comes to Rose-Hulman with 5 seasons of college head coaching experience at NAIA Roosevelt University in Chicago.
* Following this match, the Fightin' Engineers return to their home court on Wednesday for an HCAC match with Earlham.
ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson comes in at 5-4 on the season with a 2-1 record in the spring season.
* The Ravens have played three common opponents with Rose-Hulman. Anderson fell to Adrian (4-5), Trine (1-8), and Greenville (0-9).
* Rose-Hulman beat Adrian (5-4) and fell to Trine (3-6) and Greenville (2-7).
* Cory Evans (#3), Dylan Lemon (#4), and Sam Songer (#5) lead the Ravens in wins with a 6-2 record.
* Evans also leads the team in doubles wins with nine on the season.
* After travelling to Rose-Hulman, the Ravens return home to host the Earlham Quakers on Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman has won 25 of the 26 all-time meetings with Anderson.Â
* The Fightin' Engineers have won 23 straight matches over the Ravens.
* The lone Anderson win came in 1997.
