TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology softball team extended their win streak to four with a pair of wins over Eureka on Monday night including a walk-off home run by
Phoebe Worstell.
The Fightin' Engineers opened off the first game of the night with a bang, scoring ten runs in the first inning.
MaKenzie Morgan led the big inning with a leadoff double off the top of the wall and a grand slam over the left field wall in the inning.Â

Kennedy Michnewicz, Hailey Hoffman, and
Ashley Pinkham all recorded RBIs in the big first inning.
On the mound,
Phoebe Worstell answered her Sunday no-hitter with another complete game. Worstell went five innings and struck out three while only allowing six hits and two runs.Â
In the second game, Rose-Hulman against started off strong with a two-run home run by
Nicole Lang in the first inning.
Eureka answered back with a three-run third to take the lead, but it would not last long. After a sacrifice fly by Pinkham and a bases loaded walk by Winkler, Michnewicz singled home two runs to put the Fightin' Engineers on top 6-3.
Eureka once again battled back with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh innings when the Red Devils were down to their final two outs. The Red Devils would also score the go-ahead run on a bases loaded walk to take a 7-6 lead.

Phoebe Worstell ended the game with a walk-off home run deep over the left-center field wall for an 8-7 victory.
With the wins, Rose-Hulman moves back to .500 on the season at 6-6, while Eureka dropped to 1-10. The Fightin' Engineers return to their home field for a Saturday doubleheader as they open HCAC play versus Defiance.
