Men's Tennis Travels to Manchester on Sunday in HCAC Matchup

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team travels to Manchester University for an HCAC matchup with the Spartans on Sunday at 1 pm.

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the match at 7-7 on the season and 2-0 in HCAC play.  Highlight wins include MIAA opponents Adrian, Calvin and Albion, along with MSOE.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 2-0 in HCAC matches with wins over Anderson (6-3) and Earlham (9-0).
* Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in single wins with 11.
* Rhian Seneviratne is also over .500 in singles at 9-7.
* Seneviratne and Owen Reynolds lead the team in doubles wins with 10.
* Andrew Leonard has also added eight doubles wins on the season.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with 7 consecutive HCAC Tournament championships dating to 2015.
* The Fightin' Engineers have appeared in 7 straight NCAA Division III men's tennis tournaments entering the 2023 season.
* Rose-Hulman enters the match with a 59-1 record in its last 60 matches against HCAC competition.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season under the direction of first-year head coach Greg Couch.  Couch comes to Rose-Hulman with 5 seasons of college head coaching experience at NAIA Roosevelt University in Chicago.
* Following this match, the Fightin' Engineers return to the road on April 13 with a match at fellow HCAC title contender Transylvania.

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester stands 2-10 overall and 1-2 in HCAC play this season. 
* The Spartans have a 6-3 win over Earlham in conference play and also defeated Olivet 8-1 this season.
* Brennan Beachey leads the team with four singles wins this season.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads Manchester 22-4 in a series that began in 1990.
* Rose-Hulman has won 10 consecutive matches over Manchester.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won 21 of their last 22 meetings against Manchester.
