TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team travels to Transylvania University for a mid-week HCAC match on Thursday at 2 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the match at 8-7 on the season and 3-0 in HCAC play. Highlight wins include MIAA opponents Adrian, Calvin and Albion, along with MSOE.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 3-0 in HCAC matches with wins over Anderson (6-3), Earlham (9-0), and Manchester (9-0).

Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in single wins with 12.

Rhian Seneviratne and
Owen Reynolds have both added double digit singles wins with 10.
* Seneviratne and Reynolds also lead the team in doubles wins with 11.

Andrew Leonard and
Renato Prado each come in at .500 (9-9)Â on the season in doubles.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season with 7 consecutive HCAC Tournament championships dating to 2015.
* The Fightin' Engineers have appeared in 7 straight NCAA Division III men's tennis tournaments entering the 2023 season.
* Rose-Hulman enters the match with a 60-1 record in its last 61 matches against HCAC competition.
* Rose-Hulman enters the season under the direction of first-year head coach
Greg Couch. Couch comes to Rose-Hulman with 5 seasons of college head coaching experience at NAIA Roosevelt University in Chicago.
* Following this match, the Fightin' Engineers return to their home courts for a Saturday match with Franklin at 11 AM.
TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* Transylvania comes into the match at 5-9 and 1-1 in HCAC play.
* The Pioneers fell to Hanover 4-5 in their HCAC opener.
* Transylvania and Rose-Hulman have two common opponents this season vs Greenville and Anderson.
* The Pioneers beat the Ravens 7-2 with losses at #5 and #6 singles. Rose-Hulman beat the Ravens 6-3 with losses at #1 doubles, #2 doubles, and #6 singles.
* Transylvania fell to Greenville 3-6 with wins at #2 singles, #4 singles, and #3 doubles. Rose-Hulman fell to Greenville 2-7 with wins at #1 singles and #6 singles.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, the Pioneers return to the court with a pair of HCAC matches this weekend at Manchester on Saturday and vs Anderson on Sunday.
