NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 3-0 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis action with a 9-0 win at Manchester University on Sunday afternoon.
The doubles teams of
Owen Reynolds and
Rhian Seneviratne (8-3),
Grant Paradowski and
Andrew Leonard (8-1), and
Renato Prado and
Declan Vail (8-1) opened the day with convincing wins to put Rose-Hulman in control of the match.
In singles play, Reynolds, Paradowski, Seneviratne, Prado, Leonard and Vail each won in straight sets to complete the 9-0 sweep.
Rose-Hulman (8-7, 3-0 HCAC) won its 60th match in its last 61 contests against HCAC foes dating back to the 2015 season. Manchester dropped to 2-11 and 1-3 in league matches. The Fightin' Engineers return to action at Transylvania University on Thursday April 13.
