TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's volleyball team returns to action this weekend with the Augustana Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois. The Fightin' Engineers will play two games on Friday and two games on Saturday before returning home.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the weekend at 4-3Â on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers are on a four-match win streak entering this weekend after a perfect 3-0 record at the NCAC-MIAA Crossover at DePauw last weekend.

 Lily Ebright picked up where she left off in 2022 by winning the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week award in back-to-back weeks and for the sixth time in the last teh weeks dating back to last year. The defending HCAC Defensive Player of the Year entered the week ranked 11th in the nation with 163 digs and 9th with 6.04 digs per set.

Allie Fults also helped lead the defense with outstanding blocking efforts. Fults ranks 13th in the nation in blocks with 33 and 17th in the nation in blocks per set with 1.22.

Jillian Gregg lead the offensive attack for the Fightin' Engineers. Wood has totaled 76 kills with a .315 hitting percentage on the year. Gregg has 190 assists and 7.04 assists per set.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action with their home opener on Tuesday, September 19 against Webster at 7 PM.
OPPONENT NOTES:
* Wisconsin-Platteville comes into the weekend at 7-1 and on a 7-match win streak.
* The Pioneers lone loss came to Hardin-Simmons in a five-set thriller.
* UW-Platteville earned votes in the AVCA Top-25 poll after only losing five sets in their last seven matches.
* Augustana comes into the weekend at 6-0 on the season including a five-set win over #23 Coe last weekend.
* The Vikings just missed the AVCA top-25 poll, coming in with the 27th most votes.
* Clarkson comes into this weekend a perfect 5-0 incluing back-to-back straight set victories.
* The Golden Knights finished 16-11 last year before falling to Ithaca in the Liberty League Championship game.
* Grinnell sets at 4-5 coming into this weekend with four consecutive losses.
* The Pioneers went winless in the Macalester Invitational with lsoses to Luther, Macalaster, and Minnesota Morris. They also fell to Wartburg on Tuesday.

* Wisconsin-Platteville leads the all-time series 2-0 over Rose-Hulman.
* The Fightin' Engineers fell to the Pioneers 3-1 in 2022.
* Augustana won the lone meeting with Rose-Hulman 3-0 in 2016 at the Millikin Invitational.
* This will be the first-ever meeting between the Fightin' Engineers and Clarkson.
* The Fightin' Engineers fell to Grinnell 3-0 in 2006, the lone meeting all-time between the two schools.
