Men's Soccer Travels North to Battle Hope on Saturday at 5 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team travels to Holland, Michigan for a non-conference showdown with the Hope College Flying Dutch on Saturday at 5 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the match with a record at 2-2-1 on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers snapped their three-match winless streak with a 2-0 win over DePauw.
* Caleb Urban became the all-time career assists leader with a pair of assists in the win over DePauw. Urban has assisted on the last four goals for the Fightin' Engineers.
* Urban and Connor Patton lead the team in goals this season with two each.
* John Biederstedt picked up his first clean sheet of the year on Wednesday in the win over DePauw.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to win its fifth consecutive HCAC championship this fall in the preseason coaches poll.
* The Fightin' Engineers have an unprecedented 32 game unbeaten streak in the HCAC regular season dating back to 2019. They are 30-0-2 in that span.
* Rose-Hulman returns to the field on Wednesday as they host Millikin at 7:30 PM in the second game of a women's / men's doubleheader.

HOPE NOTES:
* Hope comes into the game at 2-1-2 on the season. The Flying Dutch play #3 University of Chicago on Friday night before playing Rose-Hulman on Saturday.
* The Flying Dutch have recorded three clean sheets in their five games this season including a 3-0 win over Olivet on Tuesday.
* Hope's lone loss came to Elmhurst last weekend. They fell 1-0 despite outshooting the Blue Jays 13-10.
* Mario Hrvojevic and Ethan Jansen lead the team with two goals this season.
* Hrvojevic is also the lone Flying Dutch player with multiple assists this year.
* In goal, Daniel Hesselbein has allowed just 0.60 goals per game with an 84.2% save percentage.
* The Flying Dutch return to the field on Wednesday as they host Eureka at 7 PM.

SERIES NOTES:
* Hope and Rose-Hulman tied their first-ever meeting in 2022.
* The Fightin' Engineers got off to a quick start last year with a goal from Caleb Urban just 70 seconds into the game.
* Hope tied the game right before halftime in the 43rd minute, and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
