TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team travels to St. Louis to take on the fourth ranked Wash U Bears on Friday at 7 PM CT.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the game at 2-0-4 on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers have recorded back-to-back draws with a 0-0 defensive struggle with DePauw and a 3-3 offensive showdown with Webster.
* Junior goalkeeper
Lily Doré won the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week award for the second consecutive week this week after recording a career-high eight saves in the clean sheet against DePauw.

Alex Adams is the only player on the team this year with both multiple goals and multiple assists.

Ella Johnson recorded a hat trick for the Fightin' Engineers on Wednesday in the 3-3 draw with Webster. Johnson became the just the 10th-ever player to record a hat trick in Rose-Hulman history, and she is the first player to do so since 2019.
* Johnson's hat trick is also the fastest-ever as she did so in just 9:02 of playing time. It is also the fifth-fastest time between a player's first and third goals at 8:31 seconds, the fastest since Julie Roebel in 2007. Jessica Farmer holds the record of 4:15 in a hat trick against Millsaps in 2000.
* Six Rose-Hulman players have tallied multiple assists on the season including

Endia Clark,
Jayden Gibson,
Lauren Marquardt, and
Kiana Martin.
* The Fightin' Engineers have now recorded four consecutive shutouts and have not allowed a goal in 364 minutes of action. They set the school record last year with eight consecutive shutouts and 865 minutes without allowing a goal.
* Rose-Hulman will return to the pitch on Friday night as they travel to St. Louis to take on the Wash U Bears who are ranked #6 in the country.
WASH U NOTES:
* Wash U comes into the Friday night matchup at 6-0 on the season and ranked #4 in NCAA Division III.
* The Bears have not allowed a goal this season as they have outscored their opponents 26-0 in six games.
* Wash U is coming off an 11-5-7 season that ended in the Elite Eight with a loss to Messiah in penalty kicks.
* The Bears have outshot their opponents 131-17 this season for an average of 21.8 shots per game to just 2.8 shots allowed per game. They have also allowed just four shots on goal and have not allowed more than one shot on goal in a single game.
* Junior Gaelen Clayton leads the offensive attack for the Bears with 3 goals and 3 assists on the season.
