FULL INVITATIONAL SCHEDULE
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's volleyball team hosts the 2023 RHIT Invitational on September 22-23. The Fightin' Engineers will play four games with two on Friday and two on Saturday. The other five teams competing in the tournament include Anderson, Asbury, Baldwin Wallace, Olivet, and Grove City.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes into the weekend at 6-6 on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers are coming off a 3-0 sweep of the Webster Gorloks on Tuesday night in their home opener.

Lily Ebright picked up where she left off in 2022 by winning the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week award in three consecutive weeks and for the seventh time in the last 11 weeks dating back to last year. She recorded 109 digs in fourth matches with a whopping 9.08 digs per set in those matches. She also had two matches with over 12 digs per set.
* Ebright, the defending HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, currently leads every player in all divisions of the NCAA in digs per set with 7.05. She leads the next highest person by 0.22, and she ranks third in Division III in total digs with 296.

Allie Fults also helped lead the defense with outstanding blocking efforts. Fults ranks 31st in the nation in blocks with 41 and 37th in the nation in blocks per set with 0.98.

Kate Wood and
Jillian Gregg lead the offensive attack for the Fightin' Engineers. Wood has totaled 113 kills with a .250 hitting percentage on the year. Gregg has 271 assists and 6.45 assists per set.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Tuesday night as they travel up US-40 to take on their in-state rivals, the DePauw Tigers.
OPPONENT NOTES:
* Asbury comes into the weekend at 5-5 on the season.
* The Eagles are led by Lucy Kate Gray with 324 assists and 8.35 assists per set this year.
* Grove City enters the weekend at 12-3 on the season.
* The Wolverines had their eight match win streak snapped last weekend with losses to Rochester and Trine.
* Anna DeGraaf and Audrey Donnelly led the front line for Grove City with 83 blocks between the two players.
* Baldwin Wallace comes in at just 4-6 on the season and on a three match losing streak.
* Lauren Gardner leads the Yellow Jackets' defense with 176 digs and 4.89 digs per set.
* Olivet enters the weekend at 7-4 and an 0-3 record against the HCAC.
* Abi Nunez, Olivia DuFore, and Morgan Dillon all have over 100 kills this season for the Comets.

* Asbury leads the all-time series with Rose-Hulman 1-0.
* The lone match was a 3-0 win in a Transylvania Tri-Match in 2011.
