TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Wynne Aldrich and Taylor Goldman competed in the opening day of the ITA Regionals on Friday at Wash U.

The duo of Aldrich and Goldman dropped their opening match of the day in doubles to Wooster, 8-1. 

In singles action, Goldman played Katherine Taylor, the #3 singles player for Wash, and fell 6-1, 6-1. She then moved to the consolation bracket where she bounced back to win 6-1, 6-1 against Kimbeley Peterson of Principia College.

Aldrich played Dasha Chistyakova from Dension in the opening round and fell 6-1, 6-0. In the consolation bracket, Aldrich fell to Shadia Amado Aguad from Kenyon 6-1, 6-3.

Goldman moves on in the consolation round to play Kylie Wilson from Wittenberg at 12:15 PM CT tomorrow at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center. With a win, she will play again at 3 PM CT in the Consolation Quarterfinals.

The duo also advances to the consolation round of the doubles tournament where they will play Webster at 9 AM CT
