LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers began HCAC play on the road on Saturday taking on #15 Transylvania University. The Engineers suffered a loss to the Pioneers after three sets 11-25, 16-25, 11-25. This drops the team to 10-8 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC.
Allie Fults led the team with five kills in the match on 13 attempts and four blocks.
Jillian Gregg was able to set up her teammates leading the way with 10 assists.
The Engineers will continue HCAC play traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio to face #18 Mount St. Joseph University on Saturday, 10/7 at 1:00 PM.
